Leads and Deals



Differentiating Leads and Deals is important to keeping all of your data organized. In this article we will explain each to help you understand whether to add your clients ad a lead or a deal.

Leads



In the early stages of your lead generation process, you may find yourself with a lot of potential deals sitting in the early stages of your pipeline, not ready to move forward through the sales process but also not cold enough to be lost or deleted. This can cause a lot of clutter in your workspace and can distract you from focusing on the deals that need your immediate attention.

On Saalz, you can manually create Leads or directly import them to your lead inbox.
Once you decide a lead is qualified enought, you can convert it to a deal and add them into your pipeline to start your sales process

Leads can be associated with a company, a contact, or both

Leads inbox helps you to organize your potential client before moving them to your sales pipeline




You may notice that some row got a white background, and some other pink background. This simply represent the "already viewed leads" in order to help team to know which leads has been already viewed and any action (like call/email) has been already done

Enriching an individual lead



From this lead view page, you can easily find informations about your leads. Simply clic on the button. Our system will immediately enriched your contact (DPGR compliant) with phone, Professional email adress, and much more informations.

Bulk enrich lead



You can enrich as much as you want list in bulk from the list (until you have no credits remains, to buy more credits, please contact us
From the list, select as much as leads as you want, and click on the top right icons (3 dots) and select "Data enrichment"
You can leave the page, the enrichment will run in the background. Each lead take approximatively 15-20 seconds to enrich.

Note : A credit is deducted even if only one information is found.




Converting a lead to a Deal



In Saalz, the ongoing transaction you are pursuing with a person or organization is tracked as a deal, which is processed through the stages of your pipeline until it is either WON or LOST.

Your deals will be organized in your sales pipeline, which ins completly customizable. To know more about how to customize the sales pipeline, read this article
You can simply drag & drop between each differents stages the deals cards. You can also rate them with the rating system and assign differents colors.

When clicking on a deal, you will be taken to that deal's detail view, which displays all of the relevant contact information, as well as all activities, emails, notes and actions in regards to the deal.

Deals can be associated with a person, an organization, or both.
Deals track all events and movements that take place throughout your sales process.
Since a deal is connected to a contact, any actions you perform on the deal will also be associated with the person/organization related to it.




Converting leads to deals



Once you have qualified a lead, you can easily convert it into a deal by clicking on the shortcut from the list page, or on the "Convert to deal" on the view page

When you've qualified the lead and are ready to pursue it as a deal in your pipeline, you can click "Convert to deal". This will bring you to a new dialog, where you can define the pipeline, visibility and value of your new deal.

Any person and organization information from the lead will automatically be populated in the Convert to deal dialog, so you can easily add them to your contacts lists.

Any notes added to leads will also be transferred over to the deal detail view.

Once completed, the lead will be archived and removes from your Leads inbox
